Getting back to business
Letter to Blooming Grove business owners
We recently sent out an email to our registered members however, this letter is geared towards member and non-members alike. In order to share the message with everyone we’ve listed it here for all to see.
Dear Blooming Grove Business Owners,
For more than one year we have endured unprecedented restrictions on how we live, work and play. The Blooming Grove Chamber of Commerce understands the challenges you have faced and we’ve worked towards easing some of those challenges.
During the pandemic, we helped provide businesses with PPE, redesigned our website with member needs in mind, provided Covid-19 education, PPE loan assistance and most recently suspended membership dues until 6/1/2021.
In addition, chamber members were able to participate in the Blooming Grove Relief Market which just celebrated its one (1) year anniversary. From its inception, chamber board members served as administrators who helped businesses with online financial relief during the pandemic.
Now that restrictions are loosening up, we intend to step it up and do more for the community. First by eliminating membership dues until March 1st, 2022. Additionally, we are inviting businesses who are not currently members to join us free of charge until March 1st, 2022.
We know we are stronger together. During this time of rebuilding, we will resume networking in a safe manner and have started planning events with various speakers and topics of interest to our members.
With that in mind, we are starting off our in person mixers with a ”Let’s Get Reacquainted” networking mixer on June 9th, 2021. We hope to see some old friends and introduce you to new members of our community.
Invitations with event details will be going out shortly.
We look forward to seeing you again as we move forward together, bigger and better than before.
Sincerely,
Kathy Stegenga
